This was a simple web site design and build project for a start-up venture. TBS won the pitch with high-impact creative design and a strong technical framework that enabled the client to edit content and advertise jobs.
We built a small bespoke PHP site admin system that gave Pipex Wireless the functionality they needed within the budget. This enabled them to add news and press releases themselves, post jobs, and capture registrations to consumer trials.
We built the site to very high code standards (XHTML Strict 1.0/CSS if you are interested) so it looked perfect in all browsers on Windows, Mac, Linux or mobile phones. That was important because of the tech-savvy profile of the target audience. It also addressed search engine optimisation and accessibility considerations.
The site was a great success despite its limited lifespan. TBS added several extra functionalities to help the client business grow. This included an interactive Google Maps integration, special landing pages, and a facility for user comments and queries. We also built a web application for Pipex Wireless to manage the progress of job applications and lots more.
The company became a success and is now known as Freedom4.
